Marketing: The first trailer was aired on Jimmy Kimmel Live in America, which is a prime time TV show with lots of viewers. It became the number one trending thing on Twitter as soon as it was released. Marvel also released a video on Facebook for "Friends Day", hinting towards the storyline of the film. Marvel Comics released a four-piece comic pre-story to create more hype about the film. Posters and products with the Captain America logo were sold.

Distribution: The distribution company is Disney. The film was shown in cinemas all around the world. It was available for digital download on September 2nd, 2016 and was also released on DVD that day. It is not currently on any streaming websites, but will be put on them this month.
Production Company and Fans: Marvel are well known to put secret bits of film after the whole credits, and their dedicated audience (Marvel Fans) know this, so stay until the end of the credits. This makes fans feel more connected with the company, as it is like a secret shared with the company and the fans. Marvel also put references to other superhero comics, sometimes hinting towards the future of certain characters. The creates the same closer relationship between the company and the fans.
